Horse Camps
Looking for the perfect horse camp in town?! No matter if you have been taking weekly lessons or have never sat on a horse before, Double J Riding Club Horse Camp is the perfect camp for all levels of riders.
Every camp includes a full entry level 45 minute riding lesson everyday where an experienced instructor will teach students how to ride in a fun environment! While learning about, interacting with, and caring for our horses and farm animals, campers will rotate through an array of fun activities including horsemanship lessons, science experiments, art projects, games, scavenger hunts, and so much more! Please note during single day camps activities are rotated and campers will not do all activities listed above during the day.

SINGLE DAY HORSE CAMPS
Single Day Horse Camp
Ages: 5-13 Years Old
Price: $120 per day

Spring, Fall, Winter Times: 10:00 am- 3:00 pm
Single Day Horse Camps are the perfect opportunity for horse enthusiasts to spend their day off of school! Offered on select holiday breaks throughout the school year as well as every Friday all summer long.
Each camp includes a 45 minute entry level riding lesson, hands on horsemanship activities, seasonal craft, and more! Activities are seasonal and rotate every camp which makes it perfect to try out multiple days.

4 Day Week (Monday-Thursday): $480 per week
5 Day Week (Monday-Friday): $575 per week

Intermediate Horse Camps
Intermediate Horse Camp
Ages: 8-16 years old
Price: 5 Day Week (Monday-Friday): $575 per week
Summer Times: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Open to Intermediate Riders only, riders must be in weekly riding lessons and can comfortably walk, trot and canter without assistance in an English or Western Saddle. This 4 day, 5 hour long day camp is filled with everything an experience horse lover would dream of including;
- A full 45 minute riding lesson everyday practicing different riding skills such as flatwork, obstacles, jumping, and dressage.
- Gymkhana Day: Games on horseback. Riders are broken into teams and participate in games such as keyhole, relay races, flag race, egg and spoon, hot potato and musical horses
- Hands on grooming and tacking station, where riders can groom and tack the horse they will be riding
- Advanced horse lessons such as different horse feedings, tack, first aid, clipping, lunging, etc.
- Make and feed homemade horse cookies
- A variety of fun horse crafts
- Learn all about Breeds and Colors
- Learning parts of a horse while finger painting and bathing a horse
- Horse games, scavenger hunts and much more!
Campers bring their own snack, lunch and plenty to drink.

Advance Horse Camps
Advance Horse Camp
Ages: 8-16 years old
Price: 5 Day Week (Monday-Friday): $575 per week
Summer Times: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Open to Advance Riders only, riders must be in weekly riding lessons and can comfortably walk, trot and canter in an English saddle in a group setting and be going over jumps. This 4 day, 5 hour long day camp is filled with everything an experience horse lover would dream of including;
- A full 45 minute riding lesson everyday practicing different riding skills such as flatwork, obstacles, jumping, and dressage.

BEFORE AND AFTER CARE
Extended hours of camp are provided for those who need additional care.
Campers can relax at Before and After Care with low-key activities, including free play, board games, puzzles, art projects, movies and more.
Before Care:
8:00 – camp start time
After Care:
camp end time- 5:00 pm
Price: $7 per hour, account charged day off based on time of sign in and sign out
*Please follow signs in front of farmhouse for drop off and pick up location

A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- Please note when signing up family members or friends, make sure you are signing up for the same Group Letter and Time
- We group children first by if they have any friends or family in camp, then by age. Please make sure our head counselor notes if your child wants to be in a group with a specific person. Our groups go up to 7 campers, if more than 7 campers sign up together please let us know how you would like us to split the groups up.
- Please review camp cancellation and change policy noted in your confirmation link
- All cancellations and changes must be made before deadline through email
- Pickup and Drop Off is located in front of the farmhouse
- We unfortunately cannot over fill camps so please sign up early
- We cannot provide makeups for missed days
- Please drive slowly through our neighborhood
What to Pack:
- Make sure to bring a packed lunch, snack and refillable water bottle
- We ask that every child brings a change of clothes in case just in case anything occurs
- All campers will need a shoe with a heel such as a rain-boot, hiking boot, snow boot, fall leather boot, etc. for the riding portion, campers can bring a closed toe shoe for the other activities if they do not want to wear their boots all day. We do have boots that campers can borrow during the riding portion if they do not own their own.
- All campers will need an ASTM Equestrian Helmet, we have helmets on site for campers that do not own their own. Please make sure if you are bringing your own helmet that your name is written inside the helmet.
- Please make sure to wear long pants for the riding portion of camp, campers can change into shorts when they are not riding
- All clothing should be comfortable and able to get dirty, as that is part of the fun!
- All children will receive a cubby to keep all belongings in
- Please have your child’s name on every item they bring
