RIDING LESSONS..... Group, Private & Semi-PrivateDouble J Riding Club offers experienced trainers in all areas of riding. You can join a small group lesson (four permanent riders) segregated by level and style of riding or schedule private or semi-private lessons.
We specialize in helping beginners and non-beginners get started (or restarted) on the right foot with an emphasis on safety and enjoyability. We offer quality lesson horses and small, safe group lessons designed to provide an enjoyable environment in which the rider can learn and progress quickly. Our group lessons are offered in beginner, intermediate and advanced jumping lessons as well as western and flat riding lessons.
During one hour, weekly lessons, students will...
- Receive 45 minutes mounted riding and 15-20 minutes groundwork instruction on care and handling of horses in a safety-first environment.
- Be continuously evaluated and moved up to more advanced classes as they progress.
- Work towards participating in optional annual horse shows which family can attend.
- Enjoy a barnyard full of pigs, a miniature bull, goats & roosters.
Lesson scheduling and make-up:
- Scheduling flexibility with ongoing classes by ability offered six days per week.
- Liberal lesson make-up policy -- within 4 months.
Lesson cost & payment:
- Group lessons: $40 per week,
- Private lessons: $50 per week
